BA3A❀QUILL❀WEEK 11
11:40
During this week, I finished off the character illustration for my third character. I think she turned out quite well, and the line width is still varied to give a little bit of depth to the character illustration. Although this illustration was done a significant number of weeks after the other two, I kept referencing back to them to keep the style consistent (i.e. keeping the number of colours used to shade the skin consistent, the way the hair is shaded with a solid line at the top and gradient at the bottom consistent, etc).
Following this, I began to struggle, as I had gotten through everything I had intended to do during the mid-project update. After a quick think on how I could productively spend my time from here on out, I set out to create model sheets for the characters I had already created, so that the designs could be viewed clearer and from not just the front, but also the back; I also decided to include a list of colours and details for the characters' eyes, as I tend to stylise each character's eyes slightly differently.
I started off with Rae, and drew out the lineart for her design. Though her hair is long, I made it so you are able to see 'through' it in the reference, so the length of her hair and the back of her outfit are both apparent.
