During Interchange, I participated in two Drawn into Cosplay sessions, as a subject, photographer and artist. It was fun to be able to do multiple things during this session. Although the first session was quite early and less busy, the second session had a great turnout and it was really fun to do something different for once.

I have to admit that being in cosplay outside of a convention environment (let alone in university) was a little bit surreal, but the sessions seemed well-enjoyed, and they went well enough that Cosplay Society now run it on an evening occasionally. I also got to draw some of my fellow cosplayers when I wasn't standing on a table myself, which was really helpful. Everyone brought really exciting costumes so it was interesting to draw different shapes and look at fabric during this session.
